Friends, throwing around the term "nutjob" doesn't impress me in the least. I would think most Roman soldiers and religious jews of the time thought my brothers and sisters in Christ were nutjobs. I don't agree with Jones about 9-11, however I'm smart enough to accept the thousands of volunteers who will help us in this campaign and not insult them or one of their leaders by using childish namecalling.
All Chuck Baldwin has to do is agree to reopen the investigation and allow all new credible 9-11 evidence to be placed in the record. Many family members of the victims would like it reopened. The rule of law is what we are supposed to be under in a Republic. A small price to pay for the help that could come to the CP.
We need ballot access, canvassing, volunteer and financial help. Anyone who wants to stop such help to this effort IMO derserves to be watched as a possible enemy to this cause.
In the future when GOOD news comes to this campaign please hold your negativity until something negative happens. I'll try to do the same.
I welcome all honest men, women and even children to join us in this most important conflict with the enemies of freedom and our Republic. Carpe Diem...
There's no reason to open the investigation for 9/11 victims. People died from a terrorist attack by a plane. What is there to investigate? Why waste more tax dollars?
I guess, in retrospect, I don't have a problem with Chuck going on Jones' show to try to gain attention. But I sure hope he didn't embrace many of Jones' ideas or get Jones' endorsement. Jones has no respect for cops that are just trying to do their jobs and not part of any conspiracy.
And no, I am not trying to get in the way of Baldwin trying to get access to ballots, volunteers for canvassing, or fundraising. I am just telling you guys that it turns off a lot of conservative Republicans(those who oppose McCain) for Baldwin to associate with a man who has no respect for cops or anyone in authority. Oh, and Jones rips on the NRA all the time too.

I know a lady who once worked in the large METRO police division in the second largest city in a state. She told me police officers lie all the time on the witness stand to ensure convictions. Think about that. It's a scary thought friends! She said a favorite saying of many (NOT ALL) was: "I'm paid to enforce the law, not obey it" ! We all know there are good cops, but we must never forget the worst of all persons in our society are crooked cops/gov't employees. The police are the guns behind the laws. If they are crooked, they are truly DANGEROUS.
I didn't start this thread to start a flame war about Alex Jones. I started it to relay the good news that help might be on the way. After hearing Chuck's interview with Jones, I certainly know he thinks much more positively of Jones than you do, friend. For you who missed it, Jones is supporting CB and wants his listeners to do the same. Jones stated he doesn't trust Bob Barr "no farther than he could throw him" !

Alex Jones attacks the NRA, but it's because he feels that they aren't doing as much as they can to lobby for second amendment rights; that they sell out all the time when they try to seek compromise with the anti-gun lobby. Not saying I necessarily agree or disagree, just clarifying why he's against them.
I don't see the NRA selling out. They've been very strong here in Michigan for fighting for the rights of hunters.
I strongly hope that Baldwin would work hand in hand with them for keeping to preserve our second amendment rights if he were elected president. They are one of the biggest groups supporting gun rights. I don't understand why he would trash them.
I am a former cop and I can tell you from what I see, have seen and hear from other cops, Jones is not too far off.BTW-many families of 9/11 want new investigations too, as do foreign and domestic politicians, scientist,etc. Do you wish to call them names too? A lot of things that do not make sense from that day, that cannot be pushed under carpet.
Jones believes that almost all local cops are involved with this grand conspiracy too. Again, he feels that they are talking orders from some wizard behind a curtain.
I am not saying that a few cops don't abuse their power. A lot of these guys are just looking out for themselves and thoughtless about the consequences of their abuses. I don't think they are being manipulated and paid off from a boogie man though.

he has done nothing to stop abortion and has launched 2 wars that have killed thousands, if not millions. Did Hitler, a leader in his own country, not kill millions? Pol Pot? Stalin? or are Americans somehow immune to those passions and evil?
Making policy is MUCH different than conspiring to commit murder. I don't deny Bush has done little to curb abortions, but he did appoint several pro-life judges. He failed by maintaining the funding of overseas abortions and not proposing to render Roe v. Wade useless. Hold the abortionists responsible for the killings of innocent children.
I don't regret us rooting out terrorist sleeper cells in Afghanistan. And even though I don't agree with how the Iraq war has lasted so long or the invasion, Bush acted on faulted intelligence he viewed as a threat to us. Stalin and Hitler rooted people out in their own county and executed them. Totally different again.
