Bob Barr's got the momentum...

He's clearly raising more money, will be on more ballots, and is getting lots more media attention....

Hate to have to bring up the 800-pound gorilla in the room; but what do you guys think about his campaign?

He's ok.. and I'm glad he's bringing a lot of attention to the Libertarian Party. And I will even help spread the word about him. But most of my efforts will be for Chuck Baldwin and my vote goes to Chuck Baldwin.

I mean.. if Bob Barr was polling as high as McCain and Obama and the election was going to be close, then I'd vote for him.

He seems like a very good choice. Check this link out: http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bob_Barr . I don't mean to nitpick with the poster above, however, I do disagree with him on Barr's ability to draw attention to the LP. I think Barr is doing so well right now because of the publicity Ron Paul brought to the LP. I heard and read the word "libertarian" and "Ron Paul" so many times together in the last year, the LP is benefitting today as Ron Paul's supporters look for an alternative candidate to support. If for some reason Chuck Baldwin is not on the Indiana ballot, I would probably vote for Barr at this point.

I am thinking about promoting both candidates to my friends here in Indiana. I would gladly take either Barr or Baldwin over either McCain or Obama. Chuck Baldwin is still my first choice.

I agree. If Baldwin isn't on the Georgia ballot I'll vote for Barr.
But I'd much prefer Baldwin!!

Respectfully, my friends ...

Maybe you are unaware that Bob Barr voted for the Patriot Act, the war, and the Department of Homeland Security.

I could NEVER vote for someone who has a record like this. It wasn't one bad vote it was many, his involvement with the war on drugs and the CIA. I don't believe he understands government and how it should be run.

Chuck Baldwin was out on the road vigorously campaigning for Dr. Paul. Where was Bob Barr?

And one can only hope that Chuck Baldwin's loyalty to Ron Paul will be reciprocated now that Dr. Paul has ended his presidential campaign. Unfortunately, it would appear Dr. Paul said many kind things about Bob Barr on CNN that are being interpreted by some MSM as an "unofficial endorsement". Let's hope Dr. Paul can be persuaded to at least say kind words on TV about Rev. Baldwin as well.

when Dr. Paul was asked about helping Bob Barr...

RE: Bob Barr's got the momentum...

I'm really disappointed that so many Ron Paul followers seemed to have been duped by Barr.

Let's look at the facts between Barr and Baldwin.
1) Barr voted for Patriot Act, Marriage Amendment and Iraq War. Baldwin and Paul have been against both from the start.
2) Barr did NOTHING to help Paul during his campaign. Baldwin was writing 2 columns a week for Paul as well as talking him up on the radio and with television commercials.

Barr's silence during the primary was because he was hoping Paul would lose and he could jump in and fill the void. He's just another politician driven by ego and ambition. Baldwin didn't care about his own personal ambitions...he wanted Paul to be the candidate. Baldwin only reluctantly came into the race when his party was about to be hijacked.

Ron Paul followers are some of the most intelligent voters. Why more haven't seen past the bs of Bob Barr is beyond me!

1. Many Paul supporters are/were Libertarians or libertarian-leaning. These types don't like the Christian overtones of the CP and as such, Baldwin.

2. Barr's former association with the GOP, having held office as a Republican. Baldwin has never been elected to office.

3. They want to believe he has seen the error of his ways.

At least, that's my impression.

RE: Bob Barr's got the momentum...

Bob Barr is CFR selected due to his former CIA background to keep the Libertarians politically impotent.

The NWO knows that many Ron Paul supporters will be swayed to the Libertarian Party.

We have to keep putting out Bob Barr's seedy past.

I just posted a lot of Chuck Baldwin's information at the Ron Paul Forums.

Many RP supporters still seem conflicted just like the NWO no doubt planned.
