It was sad to see the article on WND today titled 'Evangelicals decide for McCain' or a close paraphrase. A quote from Phyllis Schlafly that McCain was the choice. C'mon people, if we have a choice between Nero, Caligula, and Sebastian the Humble Servant, why not vote for Sebastian even if "he can't win"? I applaud all who vote for the third party even if only because they will not be lured into 'group think'. I'm voting for Chuck Baldwin to bring fiscal restraint back into the American vocabulary. btw, kudos to Illinois and Missouri for ballot access!!!!!

I read that same article last night with complete disgust. We have around five months to change that headline to "Evangelicals Decide For Baldwin". I think "Majority of Americans Decide For Baldwin" would be better though.

I also read the article and was dismayed. When Huckabee was running, Schlafly (though I have a lot of regard for her) cut him up fearsley for not being conservative enough. Now she is supporting McCain? I may have to write her a letter, for all the good it will do.

Five more months of the talking heads droning on and on should grate on the hearts and minds of the people (it should have already), such that Chuck Baldwin will appear (he already does) as a breath of fresh air. Being born again is a must for Christians but somebody, maybe me, needs to call people out who proclaim Jesus as King but then vote for someone who sees childbirth as a choice. They proclaim Jesus as one who came not to destroy the law, but to fulfill it, then turn around and vote for candidates who promote lawlessness (see the lack of a border fence). Our internet campaign, from one house to a few houses, over and over, will be a more believable and reliable message than the talk show hosts that have a larger audience. Many are tired of hearing them complain over and over, then defend one candiate since he is less bad than the other. What I predict will happen is that Chuck will begin to gain ground in September, only to have the talk show hosts turn on him. Then it will be up to the average citizen to determine if he will once again be suckered into voting for the same ol' candidate, or the outsider. Chuck Baldwin for Restoring the Constitution!

This is the worst problem we are facing-most christians are so focused on Obama, they are not seeing things in the right perspective. I wish there were some way we could use this song for Pastor Baldwin's campaign, or if not this one, another one with strong words like this to remind people who is in control, and that we simply need to make a stand for truth.
