Per the July 1 issue of Ballot Access News there were 250 signatures already collected. Per the CP website as of July 7 they say that number is now up to 500 signatures collected. It takes 7500 VALID signatures by August 6 to qualify as an independent candidate. BTW, according to B.A.N. the CP had collected more signatures that the LP as of July 1 and I have not heard any concern that Barr won't make the ballot in CT.

RE: CT ballot access

I do not know if an appearance in Connecticut by Chuck Baldwin would help us enough with ballot access, but it would probably be a boost. I do think that the campaign has not put enough emphasis on ballot access. Maybe the strategy should be appearances in states currently have a ballot access drive until they drives are over.

RE: CT ballot access

The effort has not been officially abandaned, but the national pulled the professional petitioners, because it apeared that we would still be short. We will turn in whatv we have and pray that someone who has not been communicating with us has thousands of signatures.

If any one in Ct voted for Baldwin and your town does not show that vote or if you or anyone you know in CT was told by a state, town, or election official that write-ins were not possible or would not be counted please contact
