RE: Exposure
Hello Folks,
Below is the recent email discourse I had with Focus on The Family and Dr. Dobson. Scrolling to the bottom of the page and scrolling up will allow you to read the messages cronalogicly. However, it doesn't matter that much. I encourage you all to write to influential people that will get Chuch the media exposure he needs.
Hi Denise,
Thanks for replying to my email.
Chances are Dr. Dobson will eventually endorse Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party. However, my concern is he will do it when it is too late. A definitive example was his delay in the Republican Primary. By the time he endorsed Mike Huckabee it was much too late to affect the outcome.
Can you please pass this message on to Dr. Dobson? We need his endorsement now!!
In many states there is a deadline for getting Chuck on the ballot. His influence can help, but it must be very soon. For example, Pennsylvania only has until the end of July to get enough signatures to get Chuck on the ballot. Only with Dr. Dobson’s help can he get the exposure needed to make this ballot campaign a success. Many other states are running out of time as well.
Once again, can you please get this message to Dr. Dobson soon? He will not endorse Obama or McCain. If Dr. Dobson endorses Baldwin, he will not only influence millions of Conservative Christians, but also many high profile conservatives will come out and endorse Baldwin. But he must do it now!!
I wrote to Dr. Dobson last year encouraging him to run for the presidency himself. I also wrote to the Constitution Party to recruit Dr. Dobson to run for the Presidency. The ticket I suggested was Dr. Dobson for president and J.C. Watts for vise-president. I thought that was a dream ticket that could not loose. However, my suggestion to the CP did not come in to fruition.
Dr. Dobson obviously does not want to run for president. But he can have a great influence in getting Chuck Baldwin the exposure he needs in the media. Just look at what happened when Dr. Dobson challenged Obama on the Bible. It was immediate news. The same instant notoriety can happen with a Chuck Baldwin Endorsement.
An endorsement from Dr. Dobson a month from now will be welcome, but probably too late. We pray he will see the urgency and support us now!!
Please pass this on to Dr. Dobson and we will thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
John Impavido

Thank you, John, for your e-mail.
We appreciate your willingness to share your conviction that Dr. Dobson should endorse Chuck Baldwin. You can be assured that he continues to watch the presidential election very closely; however, we’ve received no indication he is planning to publicly back a specific candidate in this race. Nevertheless, you can be sure your feedback has been passed along.
Given your interest in this matter, if you haven’t already done so, we’d like to encourage you to sign up for Focus on the Family Action’s _CitizenLink_ updates at http://www.citizenlink.org/CLFeatures/A000001970.cfm. These complimentary daily e-mails feature timely information on the 2008 election and other important public policy news from a pro-family viewpoint.
Thanks again for writing, John. Your friendship is valued. God’s richest blessings to you!

Hi Focus On The Family,
Since Dr. Dobson said he will not vote for McCain and I know he will not vote for Obama, can you please ask him if he will publicly endorse Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party? Dr. Dobson’s endorsement would skyrocket Baldwin’s campaign.
Dr. Dobson is the most influential Christian leader these days. He can give the conservative Christians somebody to vote for. With his influence, it is even possible for Baldwin to win!! I also hope Dr. Dobson will do it soon. Time is running out. I hate just hearing about Obama, McCain and Hillary.
Many of us are counting on Dr. Dobson to come through for us. He has the influence to really make a difference.
Sincerely,
John Impavido

RE: Exposure
OK Folks,
I hate to get negative, but Chuck Baldwin still has no major endorsement to put him on the map. We still have some time, but I don't know what he is waiting for. Can he not get any high profile person to endorse him? Time to get him on the Pennsylvania Ballot is running out. Talk to us Chuck. Let us know what is going on.

RE: Exposure
He also needs to get on Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage. I know they are not as conservative as we are, but they have huge conservative audiences dying to hear about a true conservative Presidential candidate whom they can vote for.

You make it sound like he isn't trying for a major endorsement (like from Ron Paul). I don't know how experienced you are in politics but getting a major public figure to endorse a presidential nominee who is a) unlikely to win b) not going to appear on the ballot in all 50 states and DC c) not likely to get nightly news coverage from the likes of ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, FNC and MSNBC d) not already a known public figure with loads of money (like Ross Perot) is TOUGH. Most public figures lack the courage to endorse anyone outside the two dominant parties. If you are looking to back a winner go vote for Obama or McCain. If you want to make a difference work your heart out for Baldwin but don't complain the day after election day. This is a marathon NOT a sprint.

RE: Exposure
I stand rebuked.
My problem is "I think Chuck Baldwin Can Win!" In my opinion, one nationally respected endorsement can get the ball rolling. I also believe that God can do this! Where is the Courageous Patriot Statesman that will stand up and stop this country from going down the road to the Godless New World Order? Four years from now may be too late.

I tend to agree with your enthusiasm. It is true there is no recorded event of a sea being parted outside of the Red Sea. And it is true that no third party has ascended rapidly to take the Presidency. But, miracles do happen. Still.

Abraham Lincoln ran on a third party, it was called the Republican Party.

RE: Exposure
Lesser endorsements can get the ball rolling.
Alex Jones already endorsed, which IS pretty big. Getting G. Edward Griffin, Devvy Kidd, Texe Marrs, Joseph Sobran would all be good starts. But,if you're looking for a big challenge and people to email (or call, preferably). Here is a list of paleoconservative who've endorsed past CP candidates, or Ron Paul.
Aubyn Curtiss - Montana Senator
Porter Davis - Former Oklahioma state representative
Paul Findley - former member of Congress (R-IL)
Mike Folmer - Pennsylvania Senator
Barry Goldwater, Jr. - former member of Congress (R-CA)
Sally Kern - state rep. from Oklahoma (R-OK). Considering joining the CP.
Jim Guest - Missouri state representative
**Barbara Hagan - former New Hampshire state representative and right-to-life activist. Endorsed Ron Paul this year, and has considered joining the CP.
Phil Hart - Idaho state congressman
Karen Johnson - Arizona state senator
**Walter Jones - member of Congress (R-NC)
**Rick Jore - Montana representative (member of the CP)
Charles Key - Oklahoma state representative, District 90
**Roger Koopman - Montana representative
R. Kenneth Lindell - Former Maine state representative
Jason Murphey - Oklahoma state representative, District 31
Jerry O’Neill - Montana state representative
**Michael Peroutka - 2004 Constitution Party presidential candidate
*Justin Raimondo- 1996 Republican congressional candidate in California and editorial director of Antiwar.com
*Larry Lepard, Massachusetts venture capitalist. On November 21, 2007, he bought for approximately $85,000 a full-page advertisement in USA Today endorsing Ron Paul.
**Vox Day - endorsed Peroutka in 2004.
**Ezola Foster - member of the CP
**Taki Theodocopulous - endorsed Peroutka in 2004
**Frosty Woolridge
*Judge Roy Moore - friend of National CP and of Chuck Baldwin. HIGH PRIORITY
Judge Tom Parker - friend of Alabama CP
Judge Darrell White
*Pat Buchanan - Said he was going to vote for Peroutka, on national television, in 2004.
Daniel Larrison
**http://www.americanpatrol.com/index.html - endorsed Peroutka in 2004
*TJ Bonner
Right-to-life Party of New York - endorsed Howard Phillips for President in 1996
**America First Party - endorsed Peroutka in 2004
**Reform Party of Ohio - endorsed Peroutka in 2004
W. James Antle III - writer
Paul Gottfried - writer
Amconmag.com
TakiMag.com
Chronicles (magazine)
Virginia Abernathy - writer
Marcus Epstein - Aide to Buchanan
Paul Craig Roberts - writer
**Peter Brimelow - owner of VDARE
**Rep. Don Dwyer -Maryland state rep., friend of the CP in Maryland
Charles Goyette = radio showhost

I have been involved with alternative politics for well over 30 years and all I am trying to do here is avoid the high expectations that causes burnout and total disappointment after election day. You and your enthusiasm are much too important to the long term life and success of the CP to be dashed when Baldwin does not win. I admire your conviction!
