Have Battered Voters Opted For More Abuse ?

Contract with Conservatives Or Deal with The Devil?

Have Battered Voters Opted For More Abuse ?

Lancaster: The country’s largest third party based on voter registration (Ballot Access News), the Constitution Party, compares political “conservatives” to battered women who have begun another abusive relationship.

“John McCain’s history shows the man can’t be trusted. However, like those who repeatedly find themselves in sick relationships, these voters simply cannot get enough of what they don’t want. The “conservatives” are supporting a candidate who has shown he does not stand for anything they say they want,” said Constitution Party National Committee Chairman Jim Clymer.

A so-called pro-amnesty legislation, voted against President Bush’s tax cuts in 2001 and 2003, voted with pro-abortion legislators on funding for embryonic stem cell research, pushed anti-free speech bills like McCain /Feingold and anti- 2nd amendment bills at the state and federal levels.

“Conservative” talk radio host Michael Savage, who for years has decried illegal immigration with the mantra “borders, language, culture” now says “there’s no other choice” but McCain (http://www.newsmax.com).

“He’s wrong”, Clymer said. “There is a choice other than McCain. The two “Big Box” parties won’t deliver that choice. Just look at the abysmal turnout for the Republican primaries. Voters are not at all excited by the current crop of ‘front-runners’ (http://www.msnbc). The Constitution Party will offer voters a real choice in November. A viable and recognizable candidate will be chosen at the party’s presidential nominating convention in April, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Voters are counting on it!” Clymer added.

RE: Have Battered Voters Opted For More Abuse ?

I am a member of a very good conservative church, and several of us talk about politics and the issues. I fiind it appalling that some fine Christians can convince themselves that Juan McCain is the right choice for America. Their thinking is that a vote for a third party is a vote for the democrat, i.e., a throwaway vote. There's just no human way of convincing some of these people.

I was a big Ron Paul fan until he dropped out, and some of my friends at church were believing any rediculous thing coming down the pike about Ron Paul.

Christians need to pray for God to give discernment of the times to His people, so they will make right choices. One of my arguments is David vs Goliath. Who won? It wasn't Goliath, because David trusted in God and beat the big guy.

One thing we all have to bear in mind is that God is soveriegn over all nations, and He gives us what we deserve in terms of leadership. Christians need to rededicate their lives to being salt and light, and then maybe God will preserve us for the sake of our loved ones.

RE: Have Battered Voters Opted For More Abuse ?

I know what you mean, when you see how at times the ignorance some people have despite the access to the internet you wonder that if time in a FEMA Camp would do them some good as far as the power of a 3rd party vote and the freedom they take for granted.

Until Ron Paul and Chuck Baldwin I have never found myself praying for any politician.

Worse comes to worse I fear a fragmented nation part NAU (Bilderbergia Wink ) and part America/Canada. Sad
