Illinois ballat access?
What is the status in Illinois on Chuck Baldwin? We had a constitution party canadate run for governor last election in 2006 he didn't have enough signatures to get on the ballat so we had to write his name in he got 1 3/4 % of the vote and I know Illinois is one of the hardest states to get on the ballat if anyone knows plese post and let me know. Thanks!!!

RE: Illinois ballat access?
As of the May 1st issue of Ballot Access News the IL ballot drive had collected approximately 500 signatures toward a requirement of 25,000. The deadline for turning in the petitions is June 23. I will have the June issue next week and will update the progress as soon as I have it.

RE: Illinois ballat access?
I know all a person can do depends on what time they have to get the job done.
We need copies of "A LEGAL" worded ballot access form and a copy of the official rules for each state in which the Party intends at this time to attempt access. A form which can be copied from the computer and be utilized locally by volunteers. Three COMPETENT CP members who live near the state capitals should volunteer to turn in all signatures. I say 3, in case something happens to one or 2 the third can get these important forms turned in on time to the Sec.of State. Volunteers from all over the state can mail their filled out forms to one of these people in the capital before the deadline.
THIS IS IMPORTANT. The more states with ballot access the more votes in Nov. Larger states need to be TARGETS: NY, PA, IL, NJ, GA, etc.
We need a competent national coordinator(s) and/or state coordinator(s) and we need them this week ! Any volunteers to research and post the form and law, any volunteers to turn in the signatures?
