RE: Kansas Ballot Access

Federalist,

Actually-you missed some.

Alaska - Alaskan Independence Party
California - American Independent Party
Nevada - Independent American Party
Colorado - American Constitution Party
Nebraska - Nebraska Party
Michigan - US Taxpayer's Party
Conneticut - Concerned Citizen's Party
Kansas - Reform Party
Many states - Independent
Many states - Constitution Party
All told--Baldwin will appear on the ballot using 10 different affilliations.

Right on!

This is excellent news since it saves the campaign the expense of collecting 5000 signatures to appear as an independent. The only downside is that it actually helps a competing alternative party maintain ballot status while doing little to build the CP in Kansas. Let's see... Chuck is now on the ballot under the labels Constitution Party, American Independent Party, Independent American Party, Taxpayers Party, Reform Party and independent. That might be a record! Perhaps he can get either the Independence Party or Right to Life Party nomination in New York and the Conservative Party in New Jersey and set a new record!

I centainly hope he can get some nomination in New York. He needs to be on the ballot in the larger states! Is he seeking the Right to Life nomination?

Raymond - the RTL Party in NY lost ballot-access in 2002 when their gubanatorial candidate failed to poll 50k votes. I have encouraged the campaign to seek out former RTL-Party people, though, and it seems to have been ignored.
