RE: Kansas Ballot Access
To qualify the entire party takes 16,944 valid signatures which must be turned in by June 2. To qualify the Baldwin/Castle ticket as independents requires 5,000 valid signatures to be turned in by August 4. I have no progress report. This information is from Ballot Access News. http://www.ballot-access.org

RE: Kansas Ballot Access
Here the response from SOS office. Sounds like he needs to be recognized as an independent unless anyone wants to get 17000 signatures this week.
Mr. Yates:
Mr. Baldwin is not on the ballot in Kansas for president as of this date. None of the parties have certified their candidates to our office yet for this November's election. Also, please note that the Constitution Party is not currently recognized in Kansas. The party would have to obtain official recognition by submitting a petition by June 1 to be authorized to nominate candidates for any offices.
If that does not happen, Mr. Baldwin's options are to file a petition as an independent candidate or run as a write-in candidate.

At this point, none. It is too late to qualify the party. The real downside is that no matter how many votes he polls it does not benefit the CP for future ballot status.

RE: Kansas Ballot Access
According to the campaign page, they are "Just Starting". 5000 should be accomplishable, especially if we follow the advice of some others on this forum.
Be sure and get a LEGAL access form from the SofS office and only copy and use it. They will throw out forms for a minor violation. Follow their rules then they can't cheat us. I wish you well, we also must have 5,000 in my state. We are shooting for a minimum of 6,000.
PEACE, we CAN do this...
Remember the great "little" quote we all need to adhere to in this campaign
IF IT IS TO BE, IT IS UP TO ME !

RE: Kansas Ballot Access
you guys could also try to convince the Reform Party of Kansas to put Chuck on the ballot. The RP in KS is buchananite and likes the CP alot.
Someone call up the chairman and suggest it.
