I'm curious about where the idea and name "Money Bomb" came from... Does anyone know?

The term comes from Ron Paul's grass root movement when they created a day to raise money for Ron Paul in a single day. So, they coined the phase "Money Bomb" because it was to be one day that brough in a lot of money for the Ron Paul campaign.

More specifically it came from the Money bomb organized for Guy Fawkes Day.

I thought maybe Junes 21st (the day the Constitution was officially adopted) would be good. IMO we need to donate as much as possible as early as possible so the official campaign has the means necessary to get Chuck's name out there. September/October may be too late. We need to come out of the gates making alot of noise.

Please circulate the money bomb in every creative way you can think of.

Some very nice developments are happening with fundraising, but let's face it, we are millions and millions of dollars behind so we need everything we can get!

Please be relentless! Let's make Memorial Day '08 (May 26) a day to remember in CP history!!!

The money bomb site has been updated with a different design which loads a lot faster. I appreciate the work Stretch did on the original design and for Patriot's work on this new design.
