NC Write-In for Baldwin

Hello:

Anyone in the state of North Carolina interested in helping out with the petition drive to qualify Chuck Baldwin as a Write-In candidate for the 2008 NC Election Ballot can either download the petition directly HERE, or visit the State Party's website and download the petition off of the home page at www.ConstitutionPartyNC.com. For Baldwin to qualify for Write-In status, we must obtain a total of 500 signatures certified by the state. So in essence we need approximately 800 signatures, due to the generally 1/3 that get thrown out. Petitions need to be mailed to Jordon Greene, CPNC State Secretary, by July 26 to ensure a timely delivery to the NC State Board of Elections. Petitions may be mailed to:

Jordon M. Greene
Baldwin Petitions
2206 Planters Way
Lenoir, NC 28645

If you desire to help, please let us know by either e-mailing Jordon Greene at JMG1159@aol.com, or calling Jordon at (828) 729-4509 so that we can make sure to remind you when signatures must be turned in. Notifying us is NOT mandatory though, just if you think you might need a reminder to turn them in.

Due to North Carolina General Statute 163-96(a)(1-2), the Constitution Party of NC has not been able to qualify for the ballot, being that it must obtain approximately 70,000 signatures from registered voters (or in essence 100,000 signatures due to those the state throws out) to qualify and the deadline has past already. So, this is why Chuck Baldwin will be a Write-In candidate on the North Carolina ballot.

Jordon....I like your (I assume) bumper sticker below, what do you think about producing yard signs for NC to remind voters that Chuck Baldwin will be a write in?

Well I just ordered, those very bumper stickers like two days ago. So they will be in my possession probably in about a week or two. At that point I will be selling them for $1.50 a peice. All the money which comes in to me from the sell of these bumper stickers, I plan to donate to the official Chuck Baldwin campaign.

As for a yard Sign, I also have a yard sign design up here somewhere, I think you can also find it on the Constitution Party of NC's forums as well. I would love to put out yard signs, it is just they cost more. I cannot personally get the Yard Sign ones started up, we will actually have to raise money to do that, and it would be like a larger amount. I can find out again the numbers, but right now the Bumper Stickers were the most feasible thing to do.

RE: NC Write-In for Baldwin

Bumper stickers are a good idea also and people do read them. I printed up some of the above mentioned signs on 11x8 poster boards and display them in my side windows of my car. I am also going to get a Baldwin Supporter that paints signs to paint a 4'x8' sign using the same design to place on Hwy 74 in Rockingham for more exposure in my county.
My son and I also have between 300 to 400 Ron Paul signs complete with the wire legs we gathered back up after the primary, does anyone know how if they could be repainted and converted to now support Chuck Baldwin? It would be a shame to dump them if they can be reused.
