PA Ballot access

This is a message from our state chairman. If you or anyone you know is able to help out in PA please let us know or attend this meeting if you can. Thanks.

To all interested,
There will a statewide Constitution Party meeting open to all interested. Please try to attend especialy if you would like to help gather petition signatures to get Chuck Baldwin, and the other Constitutinn Party candidates on the ballot this Nov., or if you are interested in forming a Constitution Party chapter in your county. The meeting is in Clinton county because there is growing interest in the CP in that area as well as a need for organization. It is also near the center of our state. If you cannot attend but would like to help get more choices on the ballot this Nov. you can do this by circulating our petitions. We have less than 3 months to gather at least 25,000 signatures. Any citizen can circulate these petitions, and ANY REGISTERED VOTER CAN SIGN THEM regardless of their party afilliation! I believe most people would welcome more choices on the ballot and happily sign these petitions. I am also hopeful that many people who are not willing or ready just yet to join the CP would like to see us grow and would be willing to assist us.

TOPICS FOR THIS MEETING:
PETITION CIRCULATING REQUIREMENTS, LESSONS & ADVICE
OVERVIEW OF THE NATIONAL CONVENTION IN KANSAS CITY
THE ORGANIZING OF CLINTON COUNTY, SURROUNDING COUNTIES AS WELL AS ALL THE REMAINING UNORGANIZED COUNTIES IN PA
Constitution Party State Chairman Wes Thompson
221 8th St.

jmurphpitt,

You guys shouldn't have too many problems--yall have asolid organization up there in PA. Im hoping to see a local victory from a candidate up there.

You guys need to run an entireslate of candidates for their local Borough council or whatever--easily winnable seats.

dcarr, email me your home address to jmurphpitt@hotmail.com and I will mail you some that are all filled out. There are too many names to go over.

I don't recommend putting your e-mail address on message boards- you can become a junk mail target. I've got two different people sending me petition forms, so I should have them before too long.

The Libertarian Party posts printable petitions on their state website, and I would recommend that for the Constitution Party too.

I like the CP better than the LP, but I like either much better than the democrats or 98+% of republicans.

RE: PA Ballot access

The Constitution Party desperately needs petitioners...We seem to have a shortage this year compared to past years. Our most urgent immediate need, other than perhaps Illinois, is in West Virginia. We have a chance to get on the ballot for the first time in West Virginia but the campaign has slowed down due to a lack of people willing to petition...even for pay.

Pennsylvania is well underway now, after a bit of a sketchy start, but we more need in state volunteers.

Please let us know if you are willing to petition in West Virginia or anywhere else. Anyone interested in petitioning is encouraged to call our national office (717) 390-1993. That number especially goes for anyone wanting to petition in Pennsylvania.

There will soon be possible petitioning opportunities in New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, Rhode Island, New Hamphire, Maine, Alabama, Virginia and Wisconsin.

Ballot Access has almost nothing to do with the popularity of the party in anyone state. It usually has everything to to with the capacity of the party to put people in the field to get the job done.
