Ramos & Campean
I believe that Chuck Baldwin made mention of this in his acceptance speech, however this is a tremendous "selling" point.
We all know the story of Ramos and Campean, and how it has fallen by the wayside, except for "Fire Society" (Grassfire). I firmly believe that if Chuck starts talking about this, it very well might open up some support from Steve Elliott of FireSociety. (He has not supported CB that I am aware of.
By stressing these two courageous men and their freedom, it shows we have compassion for what is right. It will help with the legitimate latino voters. It will trip up McCain and Obama and even George Bush for not doing the right thing. Stress how our government has put these two men into solitary confinement, etc, for doing their job.
This support will tie into our Christian beliefs without turning people off by the usual rhetoric of religion and being ministers (now please understand my words before you find fault)

Art- I couldn't find fault with your words and agree with you. The Ramos Campeon issue is definately something that could bring attention to CB. I don't remember Obama or McCain ever talking about this issue. Bush of course could not pardon these political prisoners as Johnny Sutton is his boy.

RE: Ramos & Campean
It is very important that Chuck Baldwin gets informed and starts talking about this. IT WILL DEFINITELY GET HIM VOTES.
The appeals court has turned down the appeal of Ramos and Campean.
The pathetic Geo Bush will not intervene. Yes Johnny Sutton is his boy.
If Chuck Baldwin hits on this NOW -- he will get votes -- he needs to make this a talking point before someone else picks up on it.

I am more than saddened at them losing their appeal, I am even more outraged at Bush for allowing this to go on. I believe at one time I read that a majority of the American citizens want these political prisoners fully pardoned. My heart breaks for these fine men who were doing their job to protect us, and their families. Losing the appeal can again be blamed on Bush. He is obviously hiding them away from something.

Glenn Beck this morning has had one of his best shows yet IMHO. After offering his opinions, he had guests that have been very involved in the Ramos and Compean case. I heard facts that I had never heard before. I literally cried for these heros. He also had an excellent interview with Ron Paul. Sent him an email thanking him for his excellent show.

RE: Ramos & Campean
People are drawn to human interest stories. They are moved by emotions. Although sealing the border is an emotional issue to some (me included), the American citizen will see that this could be their father, their uncle, their neighbor, their friend, who while doing their job, had one of those unfortunate days of which movies are made. They are starting a regular work day and it turns into a nightmare. But unfortunately, this is not a movie, just the nightmare. Chuck should continue to fight for them to win them back to their families. A secondary effect will be that people will be drawn to a candiate who cares.
