RE: States with ballot access

I think Ron Paul's primary results are a good indication of which states Baldwin will succeed in. If that is true, we are on the right track with ballot access. Take a look at some recent primary results from out west:

New Mexico
John McCain 86.0%, Ron Paul 14.0%

South Dakota
McCain 72.5%, Paul 17.1%, Huckabee 7.4%, uncommitted 3.0%

Montana
John McCain 76.3%, Ron Paul 21.5%, uncommitted 2.2%

We have ballot access in all those states!

There are also many other states where Paul did well and we have ballot access. I think some key efforts will be Pennsylvania, New York, Louisiana, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Tennesee and Virginia, where there are a lot of independent, libertarian, and conservative voters and where we are in progress or haven't started yet.

If you are in Indiana, please help! Find out more here.

RE: States with ballot access

I think it is interesting that in those three states, this late and without much media or advertising, Ron Paul did better than he did early on in states where there were more advertising and media.

RE: States with ballot access

I may bang the drum louder witht this message a little later in the campaign, but I did some research (source: uselectionatlas.org) and concluded that the following states were very favorable to Perot and other third party candidates for President since 1992: Montana, Idaho, Alaska, Maine, North Dakota, and Wyoming. There are others that are somewhat warm such as South Dakota, Minnesota, West Virginia, Colorado, and Utah. I hope that Baldwin volunteers can take advantage of the fertile ground that exists in those aforementioned states.
