What is going on??

I may be the only one, but I have signed up for emails from the Baldwin campaign and I have not heard anything. I know it takes a while to get going, but come on I am telling people about CB and there is nothing coming from the campaign. Does anyone know what is going on? I do not mean educated guesses, but what are they really up to. Bob Barr seems to be everywhere and we can not even get a website up. I do not mean to sound discouraging, because I am really excited about this race , but we need some kind of communication from the top. How does everyone else feel about this. Also, just a suggestion but maybe CB can make some appearences where they are doing signature gathering.

RE: What is going on??

We have a small staff and a limited budget--plus we want to be VERYcareful to not make the obvious mistakes Barr has made.

RE: What is going on??

That being said the website needs to post more stuff on it and change the slogan on the t-shirt. Also the website should contain videos of him talking about the issues. Chuck Baldwin can run a sucessful online campaign without having to travel around alot if he does that. The Internet can bypass the corporate media. Remember many people never heard of Ron Paul, including me, until he got on Youtube. I didn't know about the Constitution Party or Chuck Baldwin until I searched the web. So I am okay with him not travel much if he lacks funds but he needs the website and more videos of him on Youtube asap. People with computer skills which I lack should also post video replies to all Ron Paul videos of Chuck Baldwin.

I understand that, but it does not address why there is no communication with us(the grassroots). It takes one person to man a website. I am not sure which mistakes you are speaking of when it comes to Bob Barr. He has been on the national media and there is a big article on him in my paper this morning. The Baldwin campaign has got to step it up or they were'nt really up for the challange. I am a huge supporter but I have to call it how I see it.

I totally agree with jmurphpitt's remarks.

Hi Everyone,

For those that haven't met me so far i am the e-campaign director for baldwin2008.

I had this post series forwarded to me.

jmurphpitt please let me know by pm if you havent received a response. We have people dedicated for that purpose, i will want to track down why this hasn't occurred.

Also there is already two assigned people to be the direct e-campaign managers for all contact to the grassroots. As well as shotdown1027 heads up the youth efforts nationally.

As an insite for everyone one of the e-campaign managers, who previously lead a 400 person meetup for ron paul, is lurking amongst you as we speak. Smile

We definitely have been listening to the volumes of requests.

Chuck and I made sure that on his campaign from day one you will have contacts to the grassroots to talk to.

As soon as the full site is launched, expect end of next week, you will see on the contact forms multiple ways to send messages in. There will be initial growing pains on the launch we can all expect. But we will do our best to get to everyone we can as fast as we can.

Also for the concerns on the delay. I know the creators of paul's and barr's site. Unfortunately for the e-campaign startups they have had many, many more months to put the barr campaign organization together, which drives the site design and content.

Chuck now has a solid core campaign team in place that continues to get stronger. For my group we definitely have a solid e-campaign team in place, and will be launching a solid site.

Over time we will be evolving that site as we put more, and more, effort into it from your direct feedback and ideas.

Remember the movement is about all of us trying to continue the revolution.

Thank you for your response. If there is anything I can do please let me know. I am the chairman for Allegheny County (Pittsburgh) and would be glad to help if I am able.

RE: What is going on??

The campaign website will be up by the end of next week at the latest and perhaps as early as Wednesday.

In the meantime, everyone should be circulating the "moneybomb" info to everyone you know and a lot of people you don't know.

Joe, I feel your pain! There really is a lot going on, though. Please be patient for just awhile longer and we should have a campaign in progress of which you can all be proud to be associated. Tyler is doing a great job. Confidence is high!

Keep up the enthusiasm and the hard work everyone. Hopefully soon we will have the materials in your hands to help you campaign for Baldwin/Castle2008. In the meantime....tell everyone to contribute and keep the faith!!

Gary
